考察期间，代表团走进少林客车生产制造中心，详细了解冲压、焊接、整车阴极电泳，涂装、总装配五大核心工艺，以及企业在新能源产品研发、数字化生产、制造工艺及质量管控成果等方面进行全方位考察调研，代表团对少林客车严谨的产品研发、生产制造、工艺标准及质量控制一致给予高度评价，特别是在中小型客车领域的技术积淀与良好市场口碑给予充分肯定，为双方深化合作筑牢基础。
On January 30, Sun Lufeng, President of the Brazil-China Belt and Road Economic, Trade and Cultural Exchange Promotion Association, led a Brazilian delegation to visit and hold discussions at Shaolin Bus. The two sides engaged in in-depth consultations on core issues such as the establishment of a bus knock-down (KD) assembly plant in Brazil and local market expansion, reaching a high level of consensus and formally signing the Strategic Cooperation Framework Agreement for the Brazilian Market. This marks a new stage in Shaolin Bus’s efforts to deepen its presence in the South American market and advance its international layout.
As the largest non-profit Chinese business association in Brazil, the chamber has long been dedicated to fostering economic, trade, and cultural exchanges between China and Brazil. It serves as a bridge for cooperation and supports the expansion of high-quality Chinese products, including new energy equipment, into the Brazilian market, acting as an important link in China-Brazil collaboration.
During the visit, the delegation toured Shaolin Bus’s production and manufacturing center, where they gained detailed insights into the four core processes—stamping, welding, painting, and assembly—as well as the company’s achievements in digital production, new energy research and development, and quality control. The delegation expressed high recognition of Shaolin Bus’s production system, quality standards, and manufacturing strength, particularly noting its technical expertise and strong market reputation in the medium and small-sized bus segment, which laid a solid foundation for deeper cooperation.
During the discussions, both sides identified key cooperation priorities, focusing on the establishment of a Shaolin Bus KD assembly plant in Brazil. The first phase aims to achieve an annual production capacity of approximately 5,000 units, with products tailored to meet diverse demands in Brazil’s public transportation, tourist passenger transport, and other sectors, gradually expanding across South America. Sun Lufeng stated that the chamber would leverage its local resource advantages to coordinate policies and market resources, supporting Shaolin Bus in quickly gaining a foothold in Brazil for mutual benefit and win-win outcomes.
A representative from Shaolin Bus noted that as a national enterprise with over 40 years of experience in the bus industry, the company has consistently adhered to an internationalization strategy. This collaboration with the chamber is not only a key step in expanding into the South American market but also a concrete practice in responding to the Belt and Road Initiative and deepening China-Brazil production capacity cooperation. The company will take this signing as an opportunity to strive for new breakthroughs in the South American market.
This visit and agreement have established an efficient bridge between Shaolin Bus and the Brazilian market.
